A System for Transformation
Answering Islam evaluates the claims of orthodox Islam from a Christian point of view, appealing especially to the Qur’an and the Bible. The authors, a Christian apologist and a former Muslim, provide apologetic answers to prepare Christians for ministry in the Islamic context. This second edition contains two new appendices, a new preface written in light of September 11, 2001, and updated information throughout.
“This book is a theological masterpiece, the most lucid and comprehensive theological analysis and critique of Islam from a Christian perspective I have ever seen. It is invaluable as a tool for understanding the most serious religious challenge to Christianity in the modern world.” R. C. Sproul, Ligonier Ministries

one of my favorite books
I have owned this book since it came out but I couldn’t get past chapter one. This week I decided to read it. It took two days because I couldn’t put it down. The story is so beautiful. I’m not sure why I couldn’t get into it because yesterday that chapter was so good! Maybe I was just waiting until I needed the story. Great book! Great writing and wonderful love story!

Love this book!
I absolutely adored this book—it was pure fun from start to finish. The chemistry between Alex and Poppy was incredible, and it easily ranks as one of my all-time favorites by this author.
It’s a sweet, lighthearted rom-com with just the right amount of romance (not too spicy), and I loved both main characters. Poppy is hilarious and relatable, Alex is completely swoon-worthy, and the story is told mostly from Poppy’s point of view, which made it even more engaging.
I am head over heels for Alex Nielsen. I couldn’t put this book down, and I was genuinely sad when it ended. The banter was fantastic, their connection felt so real, and I even found myself tearing up at the end. Poppy and Alex are perfect on their own—and absolutely magical together. I’m officially obsessed.

Sweet and Buttery Romance
It’s all about the theme! This book is so easy to fall into. From the beginning you feel loyal to Poppy and anyone who doesn’t fall in love with Alex is crazy! They are perfect friends, until each realizes that’s not nearly enough. Bit love is tricky. Lives take over. Fear is real. And not everyone ends up together. Buttons for it all the same. ❤️

Heartfelt Summer Romance
People We Meet on Vacation is such a delightful read! It follows Poppy and Alex, two best friends with totally opposite personalities who have a tradition of vacationing together every summer. The story jumps between their past trips and the present as they try to reconnect after a year apart.
Emily Henry’s writing is witty, heartfelt, and full of charm. The characters feel real—flawed but lovable—and their chemistry is electric. The book beautifully explores friendship, love, and figuring out what you really want in life.
If you love slow-burn romances with humor, emotional depth, and beautiful settings, this one’s a must-read!

A personal favorite
I love a good friends to lovers story but this one was by far a favorite! Poppy and Alex had so much palpable chemistry from the jump and the yearning was just what I needed! Emily Henry has away of creating such fun dialogue and situations to put these lovely characters in and I loved seeing them grow from vacation to vacation!
